Two Decades of NTEX: Memories and Insights

Paskelbta 5 december 2023

In 2003, Thomas Ström laid the foundation for NTEX, marking a remarkable 20-year journey since the the first NTEX transport. A few team members have been part of the entire evolution. In this piece, Marcus Frahm, Malin Ljung, Dirk Lange, and Marcus Fedder share their reflections on their journeys with NTEX.

Marcus Frahm, one of the initial four members when NTEX set its wheels in motion in Gothenburg, recalls his first day, where he ventured out to buy NTEX’s first pen. His enduring satisfaction at NTEX, he attributes to the sense of considerable freedom coupled with responsibility.

„I’ve always felt that I have a lot of freedom with responsibility at NTEX – that’s probably why I’ve not only enjoyed but also chosen to stay here. The support I’ve received, even in moments of error, has made it easier to take initiatives,” reflects Marcus Frahm.

A few months down the line, Marcus Frahm and his NTEX colleagues welcomed Malin Ljung to the team. Over the years, Malin has been primarily focused on managing supplier invoices, although her involvement has extended to various projects, including significant contributions to quality certifications.

„I have been given the responsibly that I’ve asked for. It has been a period of personal and professional development, and I’ve consistently felt valued throughout my years at NTEX, shares Malin Ljung.

Steady and consistent in Lübeck

In addition to the Gothenburg office, NTEX expanded its operations to Lübeck, Germany, in 2003. Notably, half of the quartet at the Lübeck office – Dirk Lange and Marcus Fedder – have been integral to the company’s journey from the beginning.

„Our motivation was high as we embarked on building a company that was not only excellent but also fostered a familial atmosphere for the long term. When Thomas invited us to be part of this journey, it was a moment of joy for us,” expresses Dirk Lange, and continues:

„As NTEX expanded, holding on to the mentality from our humble beginnings became a priority. We strongly believe in the power of relationships and believes that great results comes when you genuinely know the people you work with.”

Echoing these thoughts, Marcus Fedder believes that the NTEX team in Lübeck blends the intimate environment of a small company with the collaborative opportunities that come with being part of the larger entity NTEX has evolved into.

„The ability to leverage each other’s resources and expertise positions us favorably to achieve what is the key in our profession: delivering secure, efficient, and cost-effective services to our customers,” concludes Marcus Fedder.
